The applicant can mail or deliver the form to the County Clerk/Auditor’s Office. If mailed, the application must be postmarked no later than 30 days prior to the date of the next election.

Qualified persons may register to vote when applying for or renewing a driver license. The Driver License Division will assist applicants in completing the form and will transmit the completed forms to the Weber County Clerk/Auditor Office.

How can I find out if I am currently registered to vote?

A voter is considered currently registered if county records have them registered at their current principle address.  If you click on the link below you will be re-directed to the Lieutenant Governors website where you will be able to enter your name, birth date, county of residence and your current house number.  Please note that you must enter the information exactly as you submitted it to the County Clerks Office. If you are registered at the address you enter, your polling location(subject to change) and political party will be presented. You may also contact the Weber County Elections staff at (801)-399-8034 to find out if you are currently registered.

Am I registered?

If I have been registered to vote before, do I need to re-register?

A voter must re-register if they have moved or changed their principle place of residency, have changed their name, or wish to change their political party affiliation.

If you have not done or wish to do any of the above then you do not need to re-register to vote.  Be aware that polling locations are subject to change and that it may be a good idea to know what your polling location will be for the current election(s). That information can be found at the Lieutenant Governor's website or by calling the Weber County Elections Staff at (801)-399-8034.

What if I have changed my name since I last registered, do I need to re-register?

If you have changed your name you will need to update your registration information.  This can be done by submitting a new registration application with the new information.  Please include your previous registration information to assist in the county's effort to maintain a current voter

database.

How do I change my political party affiliation?

To change your political party affiliation you are required to submit a new voter registration application.  Please include your previous voter information and indicate that you are changing your party affiliation to assist the county's effort to maintain a current voter database.
