Do You Love Animals? Do You Want to Help the Animals?

Our volunteer program exists to support and contribute to successful adoptions of our shelter animals.  In order to volunteer you need to:

   Be at least 12 years of age.

   Volunteers 12 to 15 years old must be accompanied by an adult.

   Volunteers under 18 years old must have parental permission.

   Attend a volunteer orientation.

   Complete a volunteer application.

    Read the volunteer guidelines and agree to abide by them.

When you volunteer at the shelter, you may be able to walk dogs, bath puppies and/or dogs as needed, and socialize (play, pet & cuddle) our cats and kittens. 

Hours:     Monday – Friday @ 9:00 a.m. – 11:30 a.m. and 1:30 p.m. – 4:30 p.m.

Volunteer Orientations are held on
the 2nd Wednesday of each month @ 3:30 p.m. and the 4th Wednesday of each month @ 10:00 a.m. with changes made for holidays.
