Jan Macfarlane Zogmaister is a life long resident of Weber County. She was born and raised in Ogden. She lived in Roy for 27 years, and currently Jan and her husband Darrow reside in West Haven. They are the proud parents of 5 daughters 4 sons by marriage and 18 grandchildren.

Jan and her husband have work together as owners of National Battery Sales a small business with locations in Ogden and Logan. Her common sense approach to business will be an asset in government service.

Jan enjoys public service and has had the opportunity to serve in many community and business capacities. As well as being very civic minded she has also served in various political grassroots positions, and devotes time to serving in her church.

Jan believes that communities are strengthened when citizens, business and government work together. She is very honored to serve the people of Weber County as their commissioner and welcomes your communication and input.

Governing in free society ought not to be about winning or ruling, rather it is about leading, serving, uniting and about achieving the best solution under a frame work of law. -Gaylord Swim
