Health Promotion Services - Breast and Cervical Cancer Awareness
Educational presentations are available for work-sites, women's
groups, professional organizations, church groups,
etc. Presentations outline the following:
- risk factors for breast and cervical cancers
- signs and symptoms
- the importance of early detection
- recommended guidelines for breast self exams,
clinical breast exams, yearly mammography,
and annual pap exams
- free or low cost screening and treatment
is available for low income women ages 40-64
