This course fulfills court required tobacco and nicotine cessation classes when a youth is ticketed for nicotine use, according to Utah Code 76-10-105.

Space is limited. Must be pre-registered to attend.

END (End Nicotine Dependence)

A series of four, two-hour classes, geared toward helping teens understand nicotine addiction and quitting methods. The evidence based course uses life skills and behavior modification strategies to guide youth through the process of reducing and quitting nicotine.

 

The Utah Tobacco Quit Line provides Utah residents with free over-the-phone, one-on-one counseling.

Together you and your “quit coach” will develop a personalized plan to help you break your nicotine habit. Many individuals can qualify to receive a four week supply of Nicotine Replacement Therapies such as nicotine gum or nicotine patches.

The Baby Your Baby Program offers education for a healthy pregnancy and encourages expectant mother to see their health care provider before the 13th week of pregnancy. Those who meet the income guidelines can receive temporary prenatal insurance while waiting for Medicaid approval. This resource can be used for mothers who are looking to quit nicotine.
