Please visit: Ogden Friends of Acoustic Music (OFOAM) www.OFOAM.org
Ogden Friends of Acoustic Music is presenting the 5th annual three day Ogden Music Festival at Ogden's beautiful Fort Buenaventura the first weekend in June. We are excited to host
Robert Earl Keen, Claire Lynch, Swamp Cabbage, Jr. Sisk and Rambler's Choice, Elephant Revival, and more!
Conveniently located near downtown Ogden and close to the Frontrunner and the interstate, Fort Buenaventura is a great outdoor setting to enjoy fine acoustic music. On-site camping and food vendors will be available at the Fort and nearby Ogden offers a wide variety of restaurants and hotels. Bring a blanket, hat, sunscreen and your favorite chair – low profile chairs are given premium seating. Take the Frontrunner! The Ogden Trolley will run hourly between the Frontrunner and the Fort on Friday and Saturday.
There will be lots of activities for kids of all ages including Todd’s Musical Petting Zoo, an array of instruments just waiting to be picked up and played! Educational and entertaining workshops will take place on the workshop stage. This year the Utah State Instrument Championships will take place throughout the festival. Compete in novice and open divisions of Finger-Style Guitar, Flat-pick Guitar, Banjo, Mandolin or Fiddle, or just be a spectator.
