Ogden Friends of Acoustic Music is presenting the 4th annual three day Ogden Music Festival at Ogden's beautiful Fort Buenaventura the first weekend in June. We are excited to host Junior Brown, Leslie & the Badgers, Kenny & Amanda Smith, Corky Siegel & Chamber Blues, Clumsy Lovers, Roby Kap Band, Dicky Martinez & the Little Big Band, Driven, Red Desert Ramblers, Urban Monroes, Bill Vernieu & Joanna Joseph, and more!
Conveniently located near downtown Ogden and close to the Frontrunner and the interstate, Fort Buenaventura is a great outdoor setting to enjoy fine acoustic music. On-site camping and food vendors will be available at the Fort and nearby Ogden offers a wide variety of restaurants and hotels. Bring a blanket, hat, sunscreen and your favorite chair – low profile chairs are given premium seating. Take the Frontrunner! The Ogden Trolley will run hourly between the Frontrunner and the Fort on Friday and Saturday.
There will be lots of activities for kids of all ages including Todd’s Musical Petting Zoo, an array of instruments just waiting to be picked up and played! Educational and entertaining workshops will take place on the workshop stage. This year the Utah State Instrument Championships will take place throughout the festival. Compete in novice and open divisions of Finger-Style Guitar, Flat-pick Guitar, Banjo, Mandolin or Fiddle, or just be a spectator.
