The Court Services Section consists of
the Civil Section; Records Section; Evidence Room; Court Services
and Security for the 2nd District Court, 2nd District Juvenile
Court, Weber Justice Court, and Ogden Regional Center Security
Force.
Our Bailiffs and Court Security Section
personnel provide security for district courts, Justice of
the Peace courts, and juvenile courts. Assistance is also
given to the judges in these courts with Bailiff man-hours
exceeding 14,000 annually. Security man-hours are 14,000 annually
and inmate security man-hours are 3,900 annually.
The Records Section enters, stores, and
disseminates all reports, citations, and records. For information

Transportation of inmates is also handled
by the Judicial Bureau. These inmates are transported to the
many courts and corrections facilities located throughout
the state and county. This is done in cooperation with Corrections
Division personnel.
The Civil Services Section processes papers,
annually serving in excess of 1,500 ex-parte orders, 11,500
civil affidavits, and 600 civil and criminal warrants. These
papers are serviced by Weber County deputies. Our civil process
service fees start between six and twenty-five dollars plus
mileage per service. The Weber County Sheriff's Office serves
the following types of papers:
- Writs
- Executions
- Orders
- Foreclosures
- Restitutions
- Garnishments
- Protective Orders
- All Court Affidavits

The Ogden Regional Center Security Force
consists of two deputies who handle all security issues at
the center and the adjoining areas.
The Evidence Room records, stores, and
forwards for analysis, all evidence for the Weber County Sheriff's
Complex.
