The Traffic School provides the community
with an effective way to learn more about how traffic problems
arise and what is necessary to keep drivers safe on our highways.
It also gives a driver, who has recently received a traffic
citation, a way to reduce the amount of points on their driver
license and keep their auto insurance rates down. The Traffic
School must be court assigned and approved before a driver
may attend. The driver/student will learn some of the following
while in class:
- Traffic laws and regulations
- The causes of traffic collisions
- Defensive-driving tactics
- Practical driving tips
- Seatbelt usage
