MOM ARRESTED IN MAVERIK ROBBERY CASE
This afternoon, detectives from the Weber County Sheriffs Office arrested Pamela Rose Titensor (49) of Clearfield, for her involvement in an alleged robbery that took place on the morning of 10/27/2013 at the Maverik convenience store in Marriott-Slaterville City.
Titensor, who was working as a manager at the store, claimed to have been kidnapped at gunpoint in the parking lot of the store as she was leaving to go make a money deposit at the bank. Titensor told investigators the masked assailant forced her into her vehicle and made her drive over to an area near the Marriott-Slaterville park. Titensor claimed the suspect then zip-tied her hands to the steering wheel and made off with the money.
Detectives became suspicious of Titensor’s story when evidence led them to her son, David Conerly(24), of Ogden. Conerly was charged with kidnapping and robbery but told investigators that the theft was all an elaborate ruse, and that he had conspired with his mother to steal the money.
Titensor maintained she didn’t know her son was the perpertrator, but detectives were eventually able to gather enough evidence that contradicted her story to police.
Titensor was arrested and booked into the Weber County Jail on the charges of theft (Felony 2), obstruction of justice (Felony 2), criminal solicitation (Felony 3), and making a false police report (Class A misdemeanor). Conerly still faces felony theft charges for his involvement in the the incident.
