Utah is growing fast: the state’s population has doubled in the past 30 years, and planners expect the state will add another 2.5 million people by 2050. The fastest-growing areas are concentrated in the 90-mile stretch along Interstate 15 from Ogden to Provo, where new residents and businesses are arriving at some of the fastest rates in the country.

Ogden Makes Forbes’ List of America’s 20 Fastest Growing Cities

OGDEN– Forbes has ranked Ogden No. 20 on its list of “America’s 20 Fastest Growing Cities.” Forbes started with the 100 most populous Metropolitan Statistical Areas and rated the geographic areas based on six metrics, including population growth, job growth, and the rate of economic growth for 2012. The magazine also factored in federal unemployment data and median salaries for local college-educated workers.
