2012 Note To RAMP Applicants


There are five different sets of applications. You must choose the right application when you are applying for a grant. You may apply for more than one grant or apply in more than one category. You may apply in collaboration with other organizations/cities.

The 5 different applications are:

  1. RAMP Application for Municipalities and Unincorporated Areas. (This application is meant for cities within Weber County and for the unincorporated areas).

  2. RAMP Application for Major Projects. (This application is for capital development and is open to State, Federal, City and County entities and to non-profit organizations operating on publicly owned lands).

  3. RAMP Application for Recreation and Parks Projects. (This application is meant for State, Federal, City and County entities and for non-profit organizations working in or involved with recreation and parks).

  4. RAMP Application for Arts and Museums Projects. (This application is meant for non-profit organizations in the arts and Museums).

  5. RAMP Application (EZ) for small grants. (This is open to any Weber County, City entities or non-profit organizations in the areas of Recreation, Arts, Museums and Parks. The grant will be in an amount no more than $2,000. Applications for this grant are due between April 16th and 30th).

Please read the guidelines, criteria, eligibility rules, etc. carefully. You must adhere to the rules fully.

The deadline for all applications except for Small Grants is Friday, Jan. 13, 2012. Small Grants applications must be received between April 16th and April 30, 2012. All applications must be submitted to RAMP Tax Advisory Board, Weber County Commission, (Suite 360), 2380 Washington Blvd., Ogden, Utah 84401.

It is estimated that close to $2.6 million will be available for distribution.
