Weber State University is a public university located in the city of Ogden in Weber County. It is a coeducational, publicly supported university offering professional, liberal arts and technical certificates, as well as associate, bachelor's and master's degrees. Weber State University is accredited by the Northwest Commission on Colleges and Universities.

Ogden–Weber Applied Technology College offers open-entry, open-exit, competency-based education targeted at technical skills and job placement. Ogden–Weber Applied Technology College is accredited by the Commission of the Council on Occupational Education.

Utah State University Extension is a cooperative program between Weber County, Utah State University and the United States Department of Agriculture. Their focus is on non-credit educational programs that enhance the quality of life for the citizens of Weber County.
